In the event of poor weather conditions, such as snow, the final decision on how and indeed whether to bring the children to school is down to parents.
In order to keep the disruption to the children’s education to a minimum, we will always do our best to remain open. However, there are a number of reasons may require us to close the school on occasions e.g. heavy snowfall making the school site unsafe or power failure.
In such instances, we will move to our remote learning platform and lessons will be delivered via Google Classroom.
We will endeavour to inform parents as soon as possible if school will be closed, in the first instance via the Groupcall messaging service. We will also update the school website, Facebook & Twitter accounts and notify local radio stations.
