Remote Learning

On this  page, we hope you will find all the information you need to support your child at home.  Lessons cover the subject areas of Reading, Writing and Mathematics, along with foundation subjects.  We will update this page on a regular basis, in order to ensure we continue to provide a high quality offer of remote learning for those children who are not attending school due to self-isolation, the closure of a class bubble, or local lockdown.

We understand that educating a child at home comes with challenges. At Sacred Heart School, we want to make it as easy as possible for children to access their learning from home, have regular online contact with their teachers and peers and take part in regular acts of Collective Worship.

We use class dojo as a school communication platform. This is used every day by teachers, pupils, and families to share what’s happening in the classroom and at home.

Teachers can share announcements with the whole class through posting messages, links, photos, videos and attachments as well as assigning work to individual pupils.

To log into Class Dojo, please click on the link below.

Alongside other schools within The Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust, we are using Google Classrooms as a platform for classes to complete work online.

Class Dojo will be used to notify parents when a new assignment is posted.

See the video below for a simple parent guide to getting started with Google Classrooms:
